Privacy statement

LongArc Consulting handles your personal data with care. This statement explains which data we process, why we do so and what rights you have.

Last updated: 18 October 2026

1. Who we are

LongArc Consulting, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, is the controller for the processing of personal data described in this statement. You can reach us at sander@longarcconsulting.com.

2. What data we process

We only process data that you give us yourself or that is needed to run the website:
  • your name, organisation, email address and message when you use the contact form or email us;
  • your phone number and what you tell us when you call us;
  • data needed to carry out and invoice an assignment, if we work together;
  • technical data, such as your IP address in our hosting provider's server logs.

3. Why we use your data

We use your data to:
  • answer your question and schedule an introduction;
  • prepare and carry out an assignment;
  • keep our records and meet legal obligations;
  • keep the website secure and working properly.
We do not sell your data and we will not send you a newsletter without your consent.

4. Legal basis

We process your data based on your consent (for example when you submit the contact form), because it is necessary for a contract or for steps prior to entering into one, because we are legally required to (such as tax record-keeping), or based on our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure.

5. How long we keep data

We do not keep data longer than necessary. Enquiries that do not lead to a collaboration are deleted no later than twelve months after our last contact. Client data is kept for as long as we work together and afterwards for as long as the law requires; for financial records that is seven years.

6. Sharing with others

We only share your data with parties we need to deliver our services and run the website, such as our hosting and email providers. We have agreements with these processors on security and confidentiality. If data is processed outside the European Economic Area, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place. Otherwise we only share data when the law requires us to.

7. Cookies

This website only uses functional cookies that are needed for the site to work properly. We do not use cookies to track you or for advertising. [CHECK THIS IF YOU LATER ADD ANALYTICS OR OTHER TOOLS.]

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data. You can object to the processing, have it restricted, have your data transferred and withdraw any consent you have given. Send your request to sander@longarcconsulting.com. We will respond within one month.

9. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access. The website uses a secure connection (HTTPS). If you think your data is not properly secured, please let us know.

10. Filing a complaint

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

11. Changes

We may update this privacy statement when our services or the law change. The latest version is always available on this page.
